05 May A sneak-peek | Outdoor Boudoir Sessions
Hello again everyone!
I’m sure so many of you keep wondering, “why is she clogging my newsfeed up with this boudoir stuff?” Well, I can’t apologize because I have found it to be So much fun. As most of you know, I just wrapped up my two days of Outdoor Boudoir sessions.
Let me tell you, there was sweat, bugs, a lot of moving, rescheduling, putting up, taking down….but guys. It was Beyond worth it! I met so many wonderful and beautiful ladies. And not only did I shoot them, but I now have relationships with these women. For that I’m so blessed. While doing these sessions I loved hearing the reasons behind putting themselves out there. From wedding gifts, to celebrating weight loss….to just because. “I wanted to do them for me.” That reason alone was worth all the stress! I couldn’t believe that people would travel so far and step outside of their comfort zones so much, but boy am I glad they did!! Each session surprised me, because with one set up you think, “oh there’s just a certain look, certain shots, all limited.” But every girl made it her own.
I feel these sweet words from one of the clients, Kaycee, kind of sums up exactly why I do this:
“The photos are amazingly beautiful. I never imagined that I could look like THAT! You’re fantastic. Thank you so much for Sunday. I felt very relaxed, beautiful, and the experience is unlike anything I could have imagined.”
I’m not gonna bore you with details and stories, I really just want to show off these amazing women. Thank you ladies so much for allowing me to capture such intimate portraits and sharing them! I hope they inspire you to try something like this out! I’m looking forward to many more sessions to come!!
But first, I have thank you’s to hand out! A big thank you to Rasberry Greene for hosting us!!! It was so intimate in our little part of the woods and the setting was to die for! And also to the lovely Lauren at Lovegood Wedding Rentals for the incredible bed! Thank you Tamara, for doing MUAH! Not only did you do an amazing job, but you were such fantastic support. I always enjoy the laughs and talks, and so did the girls! I also need to thank my sweet husband, Ryan. He may not shoot for these sessions but he does all the heavy lifting, haha. He always goes along with my imagination
